Home-style Birthing Suites
Decorated in warm, relaxing tones, these suites allow you to experience labor, delivery and recovery in the comfort of one spacious and private room. There are even sleeping accommodations for a partner. Rooms are equipped with the latest technology needed to accommodate any birth and, should the need arise, cesarean delivery suites are also available.

Taking the extra step
Mercy hospitals are unique when it comes time for your baby to enter the world. At every delivery, an additional nurse and respiratory therapist are present just in case your baby needs a little help adjusting to his or her new world.

Taking Care of Your Baby and Yourself 
For more information about what to expect during your hospital stay, postpartum care and taking care of your newborn, read "Taking Care of Your Baby and Yourself," a booklet developed by Mercy Women's Center to help answer many commonly asked questions. In addition, they've put together a special Resource List with contact information for important local agencies, support groups and more.

Infant Developmental Clinic
Mercy San Juan has developed a program to monitor the development of infants who experience a premature or complicated birth. The Infant Developmental Clinic is designed to identify developmental problems early, minimizing their impact on the child through early intervention.
