Advanced Wound Care
Mercy San Juan Medical Center is the only hospital system in the greater Sacramento area offering hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO). With 20-plus years of experience in both HBO and wound care, we emphasize the highest quality of care as we help patients with difficult wounds. Now Mercy San Juan has added staff and extended hours in its HBO and Wound Care Departments to serve even more patients.
HBO has been proven effective in the care of acute and chronic complex wounds, including:
- Complicated surgical wounds
- Leg vein and arterial wounds
- Diabetic wounds
- Stage III and IV pressure ulcers
- Wounds resulting from local trauma
- Radiation tissue injuries
Each patient receives an individualized plan of care developed by our highly-skilled nursing staff in conjunction with our doctors and therapists. Patients must be referred by a doctor.
